The things here are only phlizz. They seem like real art until you look close and find they're not really anything at all! This is because I'm a self-taught amateur with a lot yet to learn. But maybe one of these days I'll feel like a real artist!...

Maybe I just wanted to use my new name; maybe I felt like a fresh start, but I went ahead with the getting of a new account. I am now at aetherpie.deviantart.com http://aetherpie.deviantart.com . I suppose I can't guarantee how active I'll be, or that my visions of only posting images of a consistent artistic style will come true, but I just decided I didn't feel like waiting to do something with my new name/ artistic identity.
But, the account is a bit too fresh, if you know what I mean. Out there all alone in the æther, so to speak. So please come give it some love. And a watch. Maybe a fave or two. If I know folks are out there, curi

brief update on my long lazy absence

I haven't been on deviantArt in soooo long. And I'm not sure when I will be again, as I haven't really had the creative urge to do any photography for some time, much less edit any of my photos. I've actually been spending most of my creative energy on the writing side of things. Which, of course, I don't really post as deviations. ...And I've been spending the past year playing Tinkerbell on stage in a British panto. ^__^
But for some reason (maybe because dA gave us all this free day of premium membership and I got to come over and add a journal skin to my profile), I felt like posting an update on my long ignored dA page.
